How Stationary Dock Leveler Works

Working Principle

The stationary dock leveler is installed inside a prefabricated concrete pit at the loading bay. Powered by a hydraulic system, the main platform lifts upward, then the lip plate extends out to rest on the truck bed. The platform automatically floats to follow truck movement during loading and unloading. It eliminates height difference between warehouse floor and container, so forklifts can drive directly into the truck for pallet cargo handling.
