Safety Instructions a. Non-professionals must not disassemble or install electrical components without authorization to prevent electric shock or incorrect connections; b. When performing maintenance beneath the aerial work platform, the platform must be suspended and supported to prevent sudden descent, which could result in personal injury or death; c. Do not adjust the relief valve without authorization. Every component in the hydraulic system operates at a specified pressure. Arbitrary adjustment of the relief valve may cause the hydraulic system to malfunction, resulting in unnecessary damage to personnel, equipment, and property; d. Pressure must first be relieved from all parts of the hydraulic system to prevent pressurized oil from spraying out and the work platform from suddenly sliding down.

Monthly Maintenance a. Inspect the rollers, center shaft, and bearings; the cylinder pins and bearings; and the boom pivot pins and bearings for wear; b. Apply a small amount of lubricating oil to all parts to extend the service life of the bearings; c. Check the quality and level of the hydraulic oil. Raise the lifting platform to its full height; at this position, the hydraulic oil level should be 40–50 millimeters above the bottom of the reservoir. If the hydraulic oil appears darkened, viscous, or contains foreign matter such as grit, replace it promptly (32# hydraulic oil).

Year-End Maintenance a. Inspect all hydraulic lines and fittings. Lines must not be damaged, and fittings must not be loose; ensure all fittings are tightened securely; b. Remove and disassemble the lowering valve, blow out the plunger with compressed air, then reassemble and reinstall it; c. Drain and discard all hydraulic oil, tighten the fittings, and remove the oil filter. Wash it thoroughly, clean it with compressed air, then return it to the tank and reconnect the lines. [Replace the oil with fresh oil; do not continue using the old oil, as this will accelerate wear on the moving parts in the system.]
